Client understands that it is the Client’s sole responsibility to obtain a valid marriage license in the state where the wedding ceremony will take place. The marriage license must be physically present at the ceremony.
Couples can easily obtain their marriage license from the Clark County Marriage License Bureau, which is open seven days a week with no appointment needed. To speed things up, you can complete the pre-application online before you arrive at the bureau. Start your application here: https://clerk.clarkcountynv.gov/AcclaimClerkPreApp/Home/Index
Failure to provide a valid marriage license at the time of the ceremony prevents the Officiant from legally performing the marriage and the Officiant is under no obligation to proceed. At the Officiant’s discretion, a symbolic ceremony (without legal effect) may be performed. A separate legal ceremony may be scheduled once proper documentation is presented, subject to availability and an additional fee.
Client agrees to consult the appropriate local court or city clerk for specific legal requirements.
The Officiant’s agreement to perform the ceremony is subject to conditions beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to accidents, illness, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God, or other emergencies.
If such circumstances arise, the Officiant will make reasonable efforts to secure a qualified replacement. If no replacement can be arranged, the Client will receive a full refund of fees paid.
Liability is limited exclusively to the amount of the performance fee. The Officiant shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from any breach of contract.
All package fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to a different date or time, subject to availability.
• If the ceremony includes unity rituals (sand ceremony, unity candle, etc.), Client is responsible for providing all necessary materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Rehearsal attendance must be explicitly added to the service package and will incur an additional fee.
• Officiant agrees to arrive at the agreed-upon time and will reserve up to one (1) hour per wedding to accommodate reasonable delays.
• Client is responsible for obtaining any required venue permits (such as state parks). Required permits must be secured at least 8 weeks
prior to the wedding date and presented before the ceremony begins.
